"5-star experience"
Although listed as a 4-star resort, Vinh Hung Riverside Resort surely merits that additional star. From the first arrival, this really is a luxury experience. Friendly and welcoming staff go above and beyond to ensure that their guests have the best experience. The rooms are spotlessly clean and serviced daily without exception. The restaurant served a copious amount of food, buffet style, at breakfast with a huge variety of dishes to choose from. It is also possible to enjoy lunch and dinner in the restaurant à la carte. Bar snacks can also be ordered during the day from the bar or the swim-up bar at the main pool. The main pool area consists of three connected pools, one definitely suited to smaller children, whilst the deepest at 1.6m depth is suitable for even non-swimmers such as myself, as I could stand with my feet on the floor and my head still above water. This main pool does get busy, but there is also a small pool near the reception area and the gym, which does not get so busy, but also has a deep end at 1.9m. Staff will service both pools with food and beverages. There is a very reasonable laundry service which, provided you place your washing in the bag and basket provided by 10 am, will be laundered and ironed and back in your room by 6 pm. The hotel sits on the bank of the Thu Bon River, so the gardens, restaurant, bar, main pool and many of the rooms have a stunning view across the river to the mountains in the distance. It is also possible to book onto a short early evening cruise leaving and returning to the hotel's own private jetty. It is a leisurely 10-minute walk to the centre of the old town, which at dusk becomes a vibrant, lantern-filled experience, with crowded streets filled with market stalls, the river thronging with a flotilla of lantern-bedecked boats, restaurants, bars, and cafes. All in all, the Vinh Hung is the ideal resort in which to relax during the day and be able to experience Hoi An in all its vibrant glory at night. We will most certainly be returning.
"Enjoyable stay"
We loved our stay here, we had a garden view room & whilst not the most up to date decor, it was clean & comfortable. The pool area was lovely & had plenty of lounge chairs. We enjoyed many cocktails by the pool & a few chats with other guests. The 4pm sampling of local foods was a real treat & we enjoyed tasting some delicious food whilst listening to some lovely guitar playing. All the staff we encountered were friendly & happy & that is really what made our stay special. The staff even organized a beautiful cake for my partners birthday! & they sang too! Nothing was too much bother, they organized tickets to the bamboo circus & recommended a very good tailor. (Yaly Couture) The location was perfect, walking distance to the old town & the night market. We would stay here again. Thank you!
"Relaxing 3 day stay"
Beautiful outdoor setting with villas around a pool with a bar. Rooms are good. At 4pm everyday the hotel provides free viet sncks this was great for bonding with our "on the go tour"group and great fkr saying goodbyes as the bar is there too. Two bottles of free water are provided every day and rooms are cleaned daily very well. Phuong was very helpful on the morning that I was checking out she came to my breakfast table to ask me about my experience of my stay & got me a bottle of water for the airport.
"Fabulous hotel"
Excellent hotel. A few minutes walk to the night market. Spotlessly clean. Very helpful staff. Lovely breakfast looking out on the river. Large comfortable rooms with good WiFi and good air con. Had a delicious dinner in the restaurant one night. Will be back!
"Wonderful Stay at Vinh Hung Resort"
We visited Hoi An as a family, in January, and stayed at Vinh Hung Riverside Resort! The location is wonderful - just a short walk to cross the bridge into the Old Town, but an oasis of peace to return to after shopping, eating and wandering the streets, as the Resort faces out onto the quiet side if the river. Vinh Hung has everything you need for a fabulous stay in Hoi An. The staff were all very helpful and friendly and the service was excellent . I would highly recommend this Resort. Hoi An was everything and more than we had hoped for and we all loved our time there. Trudy and Keith Simpson
