"Perfect base for dental tourism"

My 8 days at Samdi were the perfect base for my week of dental work at the Metal Dental clinic. I was able to walk to the clinic and also to the VP Bank which wasn't far away. Very close to the airport and no problem ordering Grab cars to and from the beach and tours. I especially want to thank Phuong Su, Front Desk staff, for her friendly and welcoming attitude and her attention to my every need. I will also mention the amazing buffet breakfast with a spread of fabulous food to get your day started. I'm very happy with my choice of hotel for my Vietnam trip and go home with a new smile on my face.

"Just a trip with the boys"

Great hospitality with a good breakfast buffet. Pretty close to the airport and all around close to a lot of the attractions in Da Nang. Drove to Ba Na Hills in about 40 minutes and it’s close to the dragon bridge as well.

"Terrible Customer Service."

(Same review as on Google) Terrible experience with service. The room's AC was not working, so I called the front desk. The technician was sent out, he stuck his hand inside the room for 10 seconds before asking what the problem was since according to him the room was "ice cold". The room temperature was a couple degrees cooler than the outside temperature at best... The outlet sockets were not working. Front desk offered a fan for the AC problem and extension cord to another outlet. I would be paying 4 star hotel prices for the lowest end experience. Several complaints later, I find out that the AC was a known issue for particular rooms... so why did I have to fight for them to take my complaint seriously? I also find out that the hotel has a lot of empty rooms but none at the lower price points. They were doing their best to avoid moving me to another room because that would've meant upgrading me. Multiple complaints later, I did eventually move rooms... for the night. The next day, they insisted I either pay the upcharge for the expensive room or get out. To skip the stress of calling around to find a place last minute and lugging your stuff around to the new place, AVOID this place.

"Not a good experience"

Our initial experience with checking in was great. Staff were very lovely. We had one of the large suites on level 17. We noticed a large banging consistent noise during the day. Called reception and they came up and advised us on level 18 directly above us was the industrial laundry. But laundry hours were 8am to 4pm. During the first night there was a constant banging all night. We asked to move rooms the following day , we were moved to another room at the other end of same level. Despite being told laundry finished 4pm it appeared to go through the entire night. So two sleepless nights. The air conditioning worked on and off. Part of our accommodation included breakfast. We went down at 7.30am (breakfast started 6am). There was no bread for toast and when I asked I felt like it was a big inconvenience to get more bread. There was very limited amount of food, no yoghurt, cereal etc and very bad coffee. All the tables from previous customers had not been cleared, we had to clear a table ourselves so we could sit down. We both are very relaxed travellers and generally put these things down to holiday experiences but this was not a good experience. The lovely staff member when we checked in though she was great.

"Complete disregards for the quality of rest"

What an absolute joke of a hotel. They put us on the 17th floor which turned out to be below the laundry which ran loud industrial machines all day. When we asked to move they advised it would finish at 4pm. It finished at 5 but during the whole night hotel staff were passing through above banging a door every 10 minutes the entire night. Day two we moved to the other side of the building same floor. The laundry ran until 11:45pm and then banging etc until we left at 4am. On top of this breakfast was cleaned out by 7:30 and they didn’t bring anymore food. Cold coffee, no bread, no milk and that was the good highlights. Aircon in both rooms takes at least 6-8 hours to cool down Also the photos on the site are 10+ years old as there is mould all over the walls which cannot be healthy
