"Long Life Riverside Hotel, good central location, but wouldn’t recommend"
This hotel is okay, but nothing more. Rooms are strange with windows overlooking a courtyard and other guest’s rooms, and WC located in the shower cubicle. We asked for an iron several times but it never materialised, fridge in the room didn’t work but we didn’t bother complaining as we weren’t optimistic it would be sorted. No water on our last evening, although it was back on the following morning for a shower. Breakfast was also just okay, everything was cold including the coffee so the microwave was in constant use. Didn’t appreciate the porter requesting (almost demanding) a tip for lifting the suitcases down the few steps to the entrance door. Would not recommend this hotel, although its location is very convenient.
"There’s better hotels around!"
First room i received, had mould growing all around the bottom of the walls & ceiling. I asked to be moved but couldn’t until the next day as all booked. Next room was a bit more pleasant, though it was near the kitchen & dining area which made such a racket early in the morning. Breakfast was mediocre, cold coffee, not very warm food, which is a concern. Fruit was plentiful & juice watered down. Location was great, except for the band playing next door until midnight. I had a very attentive doorman, who didn’t mind putting his hand out for a tip. The hotel definitely isn’t sound proof, but noise does settle down later in the night, so if you can handle that, & find a breakfast elsewhere, then you’ll find this hotel is worth it.
"Great Location, Comfortable Stay!"
We had originally planned to stay for a fortnight in the ancient town of Hoi An, but after a few amazing days there, we discovered An Hoi across the river and found the 'Long Life Riverside Hotel' The location is unbeatable—right on the river, surrounded by vibrant nightlife, street food, bars, spas, night markets & food courts. Whilst the area outside is bustling, once inside, there is quiet—we didn’t hear any noise in our room. Breakfast is served on the first floor overlooking the river and included a mix of Vietnamese and continental options it was a modest but satisfying spread. The hotel has a lived-in charm. It’s not modern and could use a bit of upkeep—bathroom faucets and the jacuzzi were leaky and a little tricky to use, the décor felt dated, and the Wi-Fi was a little unreliable but overall not bad at all. That said, everything was clean and the staff were warm and welcoming. Special thanks to Minh, the manager, who always took time to answer all our queries, suggested the best site to buy our train tickets and assisted with a late check out. 'Long Life Riverside' was the first and only hotel we visited in An Hoi, and the fantastic location alone convinced us to book. Overall, a pleasant stay—perfect for travelers who value a great location, cleanliness and basic comfort over ultra modern amenities and Luxury trimmings.
