The village once supplied pottery products for daily life and trade throughout Central Vietnam. Visitors can admire the skilled pottery shaping techniques, try making pottery by hand, visit the terra-cotta park, and shop for distinctive ceramic products. Its ancient atmosphere and traditional craft make Thanh Ha an attractive cultural destination. Thanh Ha Pottery Village is located in Nam Dieu Hamlet, Hoi An Tay Ward, within the Hoi An area, making it very convenient to visit during a journey exploring the ancient town and its surrounding areas. This is one of the oldest craft villages in Quang, still preserving its simple artisanal rhythm and peaceful rural atmosphere. Walking through the village, you can easily sense the smell of fired clay, the sound of the pottery wheel, and the meticulousness of the local potters. If you enjoy local cultural experiences, Thanh Ha offers a friendly, leisurely feeling that is very much “true Hoi An.” Highlights The traditional craft village space still retains its rustic, quiet charm, unlike the bustling atmosphere of the ancient town. The ticket price is for reference only, so it is still a good idea to check again at the counter as it may change depending on the time; in particular, from 15/02 to the end of 19/02/2026, admission tickets and experiential services will be temporarily suspended. If you want to avoid crowds, visit on weekdays and avoid peak hours for tour groups. You can combine this visit with Hoi An Ancient Town or other sites near the center of Hoi An to save travel time.
